Tests, Studies and Experiments

Joy CMS Framework

Built based on the Laravel 3 framework(but doesn't use it), I developed this big framework to help us kick simple projects out of the door in only 2 or 3 days of work.

This is actually the 5th full rebuilt version of it since I started the first version in 2007.

As I show in the following video, the key part of this framework is the hability to create a administration environment in just a few minutes, being able to turn the database tables into forms and lists easely.

Kinect + OpenNI

This was a really cool experiment trying to make a prof of concept using the Rio 2016 Olimpic Games logo and interacting with it with my hands using a Kinect as a sensor.

F4V PHP streaming

I had to make a "f4v cutter" for a project that needed that feature. Tried ffmpg but it didn't work very well at that time (2009). So i decided to make my own lib, beeing able to deliver a .f4v splitted at any time I wanted.

This script is needed when we have a player and want to be able to seek upfront what is already downloaded, like it happens on youtube nowadays.

Contributions

Sequel Pro

http://www.sequelpro.com/

I use this program a lot to connect to my mySQL databases. The necessity to connect to a mysql server that doesn't allow external connection lead me to help thease guys building a solution to solve this problem. I contacted them, showed my interest and they allowed me to contribute for a test release.

I came out with the solution putting a .php file on the server as a bridge for the connection, sending and receiving data trought that.

My code isn't available for download yet but they liked my initiative a lot.

That was a good oportunity to put my Objective-C knowledge under test.
